Exciting News for The Park!

The City of Westminster Parks & Recreation Department has hired an independent consulting firm to produce an Area Specific Management Plan (ASMP) for Westminster Hills Open Space Dog Off-Leash Natural Area.

The ASMP plan being developed will define long-term goals and strategies for managing natural areas, wildlife, high-quality off-leash dogs experiences and other recreational opportunities for the park.

Three of our Guardians have been chosen to be on this planning committee. On January 7, at the first committee meeting, we shared many ideas and experiences. Please keep watching  WestyDogs.org as we sniff out more details to share with you.

LEASH-LAW-ART-Horizontal

Be Smart. Be Safe.

Last November an unleashed dog was fatally injured in the 100th Avenue parking lot. Consequently, we would
like to remind everyone that the Law requires dogs to be leashed in the parking lots.

Please LEASH UP! If not, you may receive a citation.

Thank you.
